Of all the rules of medicine. The first is that whatever the problem is, it's the patient's problem.
Practicing good medicine requires cooperation between the patient and the PCP. Both get solicited heavily however by pharmaceutical conglomerates. How does that impact this objective? The net result is typically patients asking for treatments that have little to no benefit for them and in many cases causes harm to them. This has been our observation. We turn away all solicitors, btw. 😉
